Tamiya - Toyota Supra

The Toyota Supra is a sports car/grand tourer that was produced by Toyota Motor Company from 1979 to 2002. The styling of the Toyota Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was both longer and wider.Starting in mid-1986, the Supra (in its third generation, MKIII) became its own model and was no longer based on the Celica. In turn, Toyota also stopped using the prefix Celica and began just calling the car Supra. Due to the similarity and past of the Celica's name, it is frequently mistaken for the Toyota Supra, and vice versa.

In 1999, Toyota ceased sales of the Supra in the United States and in 2002 Toyota officially stopped production of the Supra in Japan.

As an iconic sports car, the Supra has appeared in numerous video games, movies, music videos and TV shows. Some of the most notable appearances include the Gran Turismo, Need for Speed, and Midnight Club series of video games and the 2001 film, The Fast and the Furious.

This is a Toyota Supra made by Tamiya in 1/64 scale. Black in colour, it essentuate sexiness of the car.

This diecast does make Hot Wheels look bad..

Matchbox - Real Working Rig

Many collectors know Matchbox toys. Known for its beautiful and detailed cars, it is also very reasonable priced and currently owned by Mattel Inc. Many collectors collect cars from its main line, but not many collectors I know collect from Real Working Rig line of toys. Myself also do not collect all of them, but I am interested in this particular model that is the Western Star 6900XD. With its 141 "BBC and engine choices up to 625 hp, the Western Star 6900 XD can tow over 100 tons!

Tomica Regular - Yellow Hat GT-R

This is a Nissan Yellow Hat GTR, 1 of the team competing in the Super GT series. Tomica released a couple of diecast for this particular team. One is for the regular Tomica series and the other one is for the Tomica Limited series. For the Tomica Limited series, the car used is a Toyota Supra, and released way back several years ago. I still searching for the Tomica Limited Yellow Hat, and for the time being, I just have to satisfied with the regular Tomica No 50, Nissan GTR Yellow Hat.

Judging from its look, the quality is quite good. Loving the yellow colour scheme..

notice the "GTR" emblem at the front grill.

it seems like there is a racer inside.. If you have one, do take a close look, or better, open the rivets..
