Tomica D1 Grand Prix Series



Drifting is a type of sport that started in Japan where the technique which requires the driver INTENTIONALLY oversteers, causing loss of traction in the rear wheels through turns, while maintaining vehicle control and a high exit speed. This sports has been around since 1960's believed to be started in Japan and now has been increasingly popular and has spread around the world. There are several competitions around and a popular one among them is the D1 Grand Prix. Tomica have also issued a set to commemorate this motorsport. Presenting, Tomica D1 limited set which is consists of 6 cars.

I was never a fan of drifting but this set is cool. The Trueno is my top choice in this set. =)

i really missed this series when i saw them on display few years ago. Regret didn't buy them ,hehe.
